Hello World

Welcome to the redesigned version of my blog. After spending time thinking about what I actually wanted from a personal website, I decided to rebuild everything from scratch with a clear focus: readability and calm.

Why the Redesign?

The previous version of this site was functional, but it felt cluttered. Too many colors, too many sections vying for attention, and not enough focus on what actually matters—the writing itself.

This new design prioritizes:

  • Dark mode first — easier on the eyes, especially for late-night reading
  • Typography over decoration — letting the words breathe
  • Minimal navigation — four clear sections, nothing more
  • Generous whitespace — room for thoughts to settle

What You’ll Find Here

Long-form Writing

In-depth posts where I explore technical topics, share project deep-dives, and document ideas I’m working through. These take time to write and (hopefully) provide lasting value.

TIL Notes

Quick “Today I Learned” entries. Small discoveries, useful commands, interesting facts—things worth remembering but not worth a full blog post.

Projects

A simple portfolio showcasing things I’ve built. Both open-source work and personal experiments.

About

Background on who I am, what I do, and how to get in touch.

The Technical Stack

This site is built with:

  • Astro — for fast, content-focused static sites
  • Tailwind CSS — utility-first styling
  • DaisyUI — component primitives with custom theming

The entire codebase is minimal and intentional. No unnecessary dependencies, no complex build pipelines.

Thanks for reading. More posts coming soon.
